Olga Hall and Kathryn Lythgo both 10yrs old got the club off to a fantastic start in the 9/10 yrs 400m Freestyle, to take 2nd & 3rd respectively, both in new personal bests with Olga’s time a new age group club record and also a Midlands Qualifying time. 9yr old William Foster delivered the next personal best and club record in the 200m Backstroke to take 7th place in the 9/10 yrs age group.

The medal count was added to by 12yr olds Aleksander Forysiak who achieved a new personal best and second place in the 11/12 yr 200m Breaststroke and Lucy Castle another personal best for second in the 11/12 yr 200m Freestyle. Olga Hall continued her recent good form by taking third place in the 9/10 yr 200m Backstroke in a new personal best and Midlands Qualifying time with Lucy Castle second in the 11/12 age group.

William Foster added to his growing collection of age group club records by taking the 200m Individual Medley to finish 5th in the 9/10 yr age group and deliver another Midlands Qualifying time. This was another excellent set of results from some of the younger swimmers in the club which now sees Olga Hall, Kathryn Lythgo and William Foster all having achieved early season qualifying times for the 2010 Midland Regional Age Group Championships.
