Stratford Sharks B team visited Worcester for the 1st Round of the Speedo League last Saturday. Fay Malling had a busy evening with 7 swims and fought hard to take 3rd place in theOpen 100m Breaststroke and then 6 events later improved her time and snatched 2nd place in the 15yrs event. Other 3rd places went to Elliot Smith in the 100m Freestyle and Katie Burley in the 50m Backstroke with a personal best time. Ben Hanson was also kept busy with 5 swims.

  Many swimmers moved up age groups with 10 year olds Rebecca Tame achieving a PB in 13yrs 100m Breaststroke and Sam Precious in the 13yrs 100m Backstroke. 10 year olds Matt Williams & John James joined Oliver Swimburn and Ben Hanson in the 13yrs Freestyle Relay. Harry Frankland replaced Williams in the 13yrs Medley Relay. Francis Goss who is not yet 10 helped out 13-year-olds, Louisa Hayworth, Sophie Burley and Emily Turoczy in the Freestyle Relay.

  PB’s were also achieved by Thomas James, Julian Wallace, Elliot Smith, Sam Nelson-Brice, Sophie Burley and Megan Stanley. Well done to all the swimmers.
