Head Coach - Kim Mortimer

Kim is a level 3 coach and is the lead coach for P1 and P3 squads as well as being the club Head Coach

Jane is a level 2 coach and is the lead coach for the academy groups

Coach - Sophie Warden

Sophie is a level 2 coach and is the lead coach for the juniors squad and P2.

Coach - Suzanne Verralls 

Suzanne is a level 2 coach and is the lead coach for the pre-academy squad.

Jake is a level 2 coach and is the contact for development squad.

Vanessa is a level 1 coach and assists in coaching the development squad.

Club Management

The club is a charity and registered with the charities commission (1165857).

The trustees manage the administration of the club and the head coach (Kim Mortimer) manages the swimming group.  The club has an annual general meeting, to which all members/ parents are invited.

There are various fundraising activities undertaken by the club including fun tag active sessions for the swimmers and the 100 club.

The club follows Wavepower, Swim England's Child Safeguarding policy and procedures manual.

Training pools

Stratford Leisure Centre (CV37 6YY)

This is Shark’s main base and where the majority of sessions are held, including morning and evening sessions.

It is a 33-metre 6-lane swimming pool, Sharks keep a full set of high-quality competition blocks at the pool.

Shipston Leisure Centre (CV36 4DY)

Most squads have one swimming session per week at Shipston Leisure centre.  All sessions at Shipston are evening sessions.

Shipston is a 5-lane 25 metre pool and swimming here is particularly useful for the younger swimmers as it is the same size as short course competition pools.

Sharks have a second set of blocks at Shipston.

Banbury Lido (OX16 0HS)

Banbury is a 50-metre outdoor pool. The performance and masters squads have one session here per week during the summer months (June - beginning of September).

Fees

Squad fees are paid monthly in advance, fees are calculated spread over the year and include the 2 week summer break, reduced xmas timetable and some session cancellations due to bank holidays/competitive commitments. If due to injury of more than a month the members parent can contact membership to have fees paused, the charity membership donation is still required to retain your place in the squad.
